2020 Democratic hopeful Andrew Yang opened his Iowa City campaign office on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019. An estimated 120, both local and out-of-state, crowded the office to hear Yang speak about issues such as universal basic income, education, healthcare, and his “Make America Think Harder” slogan. A recent poll from Siena College and the New York Times Upshot shows Yang polling at 3 percent in Iowa.
