New Jersey native Ihmir Smith-Marsette opened the Big Ten season for Iowa with a long touchdown against his home state Rutgers, going 58 yards to the house in the first quarter.

Lined up on the right, Smith-Marsette used his speed burst through two defenders. Quarterback Nate Stanley put the ball exactly where it needed to be for his receiver to ease into the end zone.

The touchdown gave the Hawkeyes a 7-0 lead over Rutgers.
