Former Iowa basketball guard Isaiah Moss announced his decommitment from Arkansas on Friday.

After declaring his intention to transfer from Iowa on May 2, Moss was set to join the Razorbacks with immediate eligibility.

“After much thought and deliberation with my family, I have made the difficult decision to re-open my recruitment,” he said on Twitter. “I would like to thank the coaching staff at the University of Arkansas for all they have done for me. I am hopeful and excited for what the future holds for me.”

The Chicago native previously agreed to join the Arkansas program in early May, announcing his commitment on Twitter. The Tweet has since been deleted.

Moss was a fixture in head coach Fran McCaffery’s starting rotation all season, starting all 35 of the team’s contests. He tallied 9.2 points and 2.9 rebounds per game and was reliable from beyond the arc, shooting 42.1 percent from the 3-point line.
