Coralville man accused of stabbing, evading police

Authorities have accused a Coralville man of stabbing a person and evading police.

John Greb, 18, was charged April 20 with first-degree robbery, willful injury causing bodily injury, interference with official acts, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to the arrest affidavit, officers responded to the scene for reports of an armed man. When Greb saw officers approaching, he ran away before being taken into custody and read his rights.

Greb allegedly had blood on his person and possessed a bloody knife that he had used to stab the person. Greb also reportedly possessed Adderall and marijuana.

First-degree robbery is a Class-B felony. Willful injury causing bodily injury is a Class-D felony.
