Solon man accused of methamphetamine possession

Authorities have accused an area man of possessing meth in jail.

Christopher Hook, 52, was charged April 3 with third-offense possession of a controlled substance and driving while barred. 

According to the arrest affidavit, Hook was arrested for allegedly driving without a license. While being processed at the Johnson County Jail, deputies reportedly found a substance on his person that he identified as methamphetamine. 

Third-offense possession of a controlled substance is a Class-D felony.
