Coralville woman accused of assaulting, threatening her partner

A Coralville woman has been accused of beating her domestic partner.

Ebonie Jones, 24, was charged March 23 with domestic abuse/assault impeding the flow of air and blood, domestic abuse assault causing injury, and first-degree burglary.

According to the arrest affidavit, Jones allegedly forced her way into the victim’s apartment, where she proceeded to bite, punch, choke, and threaten her domestic partner. The two were separated by a witness at the scene, according to police.

First-degree burglary is a Class-B felony.
