INDIANAPOLIS—Two hours before tip-off of the women’s Big Ten Championship game between No. 8 Maryland and No. 10 Iowa, fans of both teams gathered in the pavilion of Bankers Life Fieldhouse for a pre-game pep-rally.

Herky and Testudo the Terrapin were spotted interacting with fans, and bands and spirit squads from both schools amped up the crowd.

It was a fun atmosphere that got both sets of fans ready for what should be an intense matchup between the Big Ten’s top two teams.

Tip off is at 5 p.m. (Iowa time) and will be televised on ESPN 2.
