Authorities have accused a Burlington man of beating and strangling a woman.

Travis Ockenfels, 32, was charged March 4 with domestic abuse impeding the flow of air/blood causing injury and domestic abuse/assault causing injury.

According to the arrest affidavit, Moore pushed the woman down the stairs, strangled her, and pushed her face into the couch in several different incidents.

Domestic abuse impeding the flow of air/blood is a Class-D felony.
