Jade Hinricks, 22, was charged Sept. 4 with forgery and third-degree theft.

According to the arrest affidavit, Hinkricks cashed a forged payroll check totaling $992.72. Hinricks never worked for the business that the checks were written from, nor did the business approve the checks.

Forgery is a Class-D felony.
