Solon man accused of meth possession

Authorities have accused a Solon man of possessing meth and drug paraphernalia.

Christopher Hook, 52, was charged Oct. 31 with third or subsequent possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to the arrest affidavit, Hook was stopped by police for speeding. Open containers of alcohol were reortdly in open view in the vehicle. Officers searched the vehicle and found meth and a drug pipe, the affidavit said.

Hook has two previous convictions for possession of a controlled substance.

Third or subsequent possession of a controlled substance is a Class-D felony.
