Devontay James, 21, 1929 Lakeside Drive, was charged Oct. 18 with a controlled-substance violation.

According to an arrest affidavit, during a traffic stop, officers discovered that James possessed numerous bags and packages of marijuana.

Controlled-substance violation is a Class-D felony.
