Authorities have accused an Earlville, Iowa, man of stealing thousands of dollars in scrap metal from Thermo King.

Travis Ziel, 29, has been charged with second-degree theft.

According to an arrest affidavit, Ziel and a partner entered a Thermo King parking lot and stole approximately $2,150 worth of scrap metal and an engine core and sold the scrap metal to CC Recycling in Cedar Rapids.
