Hancher will debut its season with a free lecture by acclaimed broadcast journalist, Cokie Roberts. Two days after the lecture, Hancher will host a free outdoor concert by bluegrass band, Steep Canyon Rangers. Later on in the season, audiences can expect musical performances by the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Cashore Marionettes, and the Soweto Gospel Choir. In December, the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Les Miserables will make a six-day stop at Hancher. To cap off the year, Kristin Chenowith will perform New Year’s Eve.
