Authorities have accused an Iowa City woman of being a part of a methamphetamine sale.

Whitley Weston, 30, 320 Second Ave., has been charged with controlled-substance violation.

According to the arrest affidavit, an undercover Johnson County Drug Task Force agent contacted Tashelle Sheree Jarrett to buy an ounce of methamphetamine. Jarrett then led the agent to her supplier, who was identified as Ricky Lamar Wallace, the affidavit said.

Wallace agreed to sell the undercover agent an ounce of methamphetamine for $1,000, the affidavit said and arranged for a meeting with Weston.

Weston gave 28.4 grams of methamphetamine to the agent for $1,000, the affidavit said.

Controlled-substance violation is a Class-B felony.
