Authorities have accused a Washington, Iowa, man of exposing himself in front of juveniles in a University of Iowa locker room.

Brian Shepherd, 36, was charged Feb. 24 with invasion of privacy, child endangerment, and indecent exposure.

According to the arrest affidavit, Shepherd went into the men’s locker room at the UI Campus Recreation and Wellness Center at 12:30 p.m.

While there were juveniles in the room, the affidavit said, Shepherd began masturbating. Juveniles in the locker room could see Shepherd looking through a crack through the door while this occurred, the affidavit said.

Shepherd was arrested and later released from jail, the affidavit said.
