Iowa will be without one of its forwards for the second game in a row.

Forward Ryan Kriener will miss his second-straight game with a concussion tonight against Wisconsin.

Kriener exited Iowa’s 80-64 loss to Rutgers on Jan. 17, and he hasn’t seen the court since, missing the 87-64 loss to Purdue on Jan. 20.

So far this season, the sophomore has averaged 3.2 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. He scored a season-high 6 points against Southern in early December, and he provided a spark for Iowa off the bench in its win over Illinois on Jan. 11.

In that game, Kriener scored 5 points and grabbed 4 rebounds, two of which came on the offensive end.

“It doesn’t look good,” McCaffery said on Kriener’s status during his teleconference on Monday.
