Redington to head for Idaho State

Lyn Redington, the dean of students at the University of Iowa, has been named the vice president for student affairs at Idaho State University. She will begin her new position on July 1.

Redington has been the assistant vice president for Student Life and dean of students at the UI for two and a half years. Before coming to the UI, Redington spent two decades at the University of Northern Iowa in a variety of roles.

UI officials have not made any decisions on interim plans, but a national search will begin to fill Redington’s position.
