Iowa City police have arrested a suspect in connection with a July 28 robbery and shooting.
Deondre Jerome Handley is being held in the Johnson County Jail on $350,000 bond, charged with attempted murder and first-degree robbery.
On July 28 at 11:05 p.m., police responded to the 1000 block of Sandusky Drive, where a man had been shot. An initial investigation indicated he might have been robbed at gunpoint. The incident is still under investigation.
