The University of Iowa Hawkeyes Sparkles is a student organization that encompasses of individuals of all abilities who are eager to be a part of the spirit squad for Dance Marathon.
The group performed around 8 a.m. Saturday, near the halfway point, to keep the energy in the room alive.
UI sophomore Haley Hawbaker, a member of UI Sparkles, said the goal of the organization is to get everyone involved and to have a great time.
