Authorities have accused an Iowa City man of possessing drugs.
Timothy Heath, 23, was charged with possession of a controlled substance on Jan. 20, 2014.
According to online court documents, police arrived at Heath’s residence in response to a medical emergency.
Heath’s parents reportedly found him unresponsive in his room with a syringe in one hand and heroin in the surrounding area.
Possession of a controlled substance is a Class-D felony.
