Authorities have accused a Coralville man of possessing and distributing marijuana.

Torrenzo Green, 39, was charged Nov. 5 with a controlled-substance violation.

According to online court documents, the Johnson County Drug Task Force acquired a narcotics search warrant for Green’s home.

Upon searching his home, officers reportedly located marijuana, packaging materials, and U.S. currency.

Once Green was interviewed, he allegedly admitted under Miranda that he has sold marijuana in the past as well as currently.

A controlled-substance violation is a Class-D felony.
