University of Iowa officials issued a report of sexual misconduct Monday afternoon.
This is the first reported sexual misconduct for the academic year.
Reportedly, a student was sexually assaulted Aug. 22 by an acquaintance at a residence hall.
According to the Hawk Alert, the student reported the incident to UI officials on Sunday.
