Iowa head football coach Kirk Ferentz announced a personnel/recruiting division in the football program Tuesday.

Kelvin Bell has been named director of on-campus recruiting, which means he will assist in prospect identification and coordinate all aspects of on-campus recruiting activities.

Max Allen has been named director of football new media. He will oversee all aspects of design and production of print and electronic recruiting materials. He will also manage football social media.

Scott Southmayd will work with recruiting coordinator Seth Wallace as director of player personnel.

Former Iowa defensive end Broderick Binns will serve as a graduate assistant and work with special teams.
