University officials will test the Hawk Alert system on Wednesday.
The University of Iowa Department of Public Safety will test the emergency notification system at 10 a.m. on Wednesday as required by federal law.
Only students enrolled for the summer session will be included in the test. Students who are enrolled in fall, but not for the summer session, will not be included in the test.
