New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will headline an event for the Branstad-Reynolds gubernatorial re-election campaign.

The campaign announced Monday through a statement that Christie will headline “An Evening at the Fair,” a fundraising dinner for Gov. Terry Branstad and Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds.

The fundraiser is on July 17 at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport.

The Republican incumbents are up against the Democratic duo Jack Hatch and Monica Vernon for governor and lieutenant governor in the general election, set for Nov. 4.
