An Iowa City nightclub has been fined by the state, and it will lose its liquor license for 30 days.
Caliente Night Club, 171 Highway 1 W., will be fined $1,000 in addition to the liquor-license suspension, according to an order issued April 24. The suspension will occur Oct. 1 through Oct. 31.
The fine comes after the business sold alcohol to a minor.
