The Daily Iowan and UISG will host a forum on the 21-ordinance today

University of Iowa Student Government representatives and The Daily Iowan will host a forum on the 21-ordinance today.

UISG and Daily Iowan Opinions Editor Zach Tilly will submit questions to participants on both sides of the issue.

Tilly will moderate the forum between the “Twenty-One Makes Sense” campaign, a pro-ordinance group, and the Young Adults for Equality and Safety, an ordinance repeal group.

Iowa City Mayor Matt Hayek and UI Vice President for Student Life Tom Rocklin, who serve as the co-heads for the “Twenty-One Makes Sense” campaign, will represent their side.

The Young Adults for Equality and Safety will be represented by Commissioner Michael Kessler and Kaleb Hays, both of whom are students at the University of Iowa.

The forum will start at 7 p.m. in 252D University Capitol Center.
