An Iowa City man was charged after allegedly breaking into a construction trailer.
Tiofilo Rodriguez-Godoy, 28, was charged on Sept. 27 with third-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief.
According to an Iowa City police complaint, some type of cutting tool was used to break into the trailer. There were fingerprints on the side of the trailer and near the hole.
Photos were taken of these fingerprints and were identified as those of Rodriguez-Godoy.
The value of the items taken is more than $10,000.
Third-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief are Class-D felonies.
