Today, the University of Iowa Military and Veterans Student Service Office will host an open house to show off its newly remodeled space.
From 12:30 p.m. until 5 p.m., the center will be open for visitors. Opening remarks will come at 1 p.m. from UI President Sally Mason and Georgina Dodge, the UI’s chief diversity officer.
There are currently more than 500 veteran students on campus, and more than 70 of them new this fall.
