A Coralville man has been charged with assault after he allegedly punched another individual several times at a Coralville residence.
Jeremy Perkins, 20, was charged June 13 with assault causing injury.
According to a Coralville police complaint, officers were dispatched to the area of 809 Holiday Road after receiving a report of an assault.
When officers arrived on scene, a man told them that he had been punched numerous times by Perkins, and he suffered numerous bruises.
Assault causing injury is serious misdemeanor.
