A local man has been charged after he allegedly stole a GMC pickup.
Nathan Mueller, 22, was charged on March 13 with first-degree criminal mischief.
According to a Johnson County Sheriff’s Office complaint, Mueller and two codefendants admitted to stealing a 2009 GMC pickup. The defendants reportedly also stole a semi truck from a farmhouse, then began running into the pickup with the semi.
The damage to the pickup and the semi totaled more than $35,000.
Criminal mischief in the first-degree is a felony.
