A local man has been accused of forcing a child to inappropriately touch him.

Andre Poole, 19, was charged March 15 with lascivious acts with a child.

According to an Iowa City police complaint, Poole was baby-sitting his cousin’s children when he made a 9-year-old child “rub his erect penis thorough his pants.”

Poole told the child he would “blackmail” her if she didn’t do what he asked, the complaint said.

The child disclosed the information to her parents the next morning and told them that she touched

Poole’s “private” and it was “like hard muscles.” The alleged abuse was reported to the Iowa City police, the complaint said.

A lascivious act with a child is a Class-C felony.
