Iowa City will take part in a statewide tornado drill on Wednesday.
According to a city press release, businesses, schools, and residents will participate in the drill from 10-10:30 a.m. for Severe Weather Awareness Week. Participants are encouraged to test their emergency plans. In case of severe weather, the drill will be postponed until Thursday.
According to the release, the awareness week will be observed from today through Friday.
