Iowa City was ranked in the Top 10 Cities for Book Lovers by Livability.com Wednesday.

According to a city of Iowa City press release, Livability.com — an online resource that provides information regarding the best places to live, visit, work, and play — provided the list based on “iconic independent bookstores.” Iowa City’s bookstores, including Prairie Lights and the Haunted Bookshop, made the choice an easy one, according to the release.

Some of the other communities who made the list include Portland, San Jose, and Charlotte.
