Man accused of harassment

A Riverside man has been accused of threatening his girlfriend following a “heated argument.”

According to a Coralville police complaint, David Ortega, 23, 1092 Walnut Ave. Apt. 216, was charged Oct. 20 with first-degree harassment.

Ortega allegedly called a female at her workplace after a heated argument and located some offensive information regarding their relationship. During their phone conversation, Ortega stated he wanted to “put a bullet between her eyes” and he wanted to kill his brother.
