The University of Iowa Foundation received nearly $203,000,000 through donations in fiscal 2012.

The foundation released a report titled, “2012 Annual Report on Giving to the University of Iowa,” detailed its donations from groups such as alumni, non-alumni, and organizations.

According to the report, the foundation received 154,595 total gifts, 55 percent of which were from alumni, who donated roughly $111,000,000 to the foundation.

In fiscal 2011, the foundation received $213.9 million, a 12.2 percent increase over the previous year.
