A Coralville man has been accused of throwing his bicycle at a man’s car and threatening to tear his face apart on Sunday.

According to a Coralville police complaint, Daniel Wickenkamp, 53, was charged with first-degree harassment after he allegedly threatened a man as the man left his own residence.

The complaint said Wickenkamp rode up on his bike while the man was leaving in his vehicle. Wickencamp allegedly started yelling at the man, then punched his car window and allegedly said, “I will tear your face apart with my hands,” according to the complaint. The complaint also said Wickenkamp also said he would kill the man if he had his gun in his bag.

As the man drove away, Wickenkamp allegedly threw his bicycle at the man’s car, according to the complaint. The complaint said the man feared for his life and the safety of his family.
