Tiffin man charged with third OWI

A Tiffin man has been charged with a third-offense OWI.

James Robb, 33, was charged Sunday.

According to a Johnson County Sheriff’s Office complaint, an officer was called to Robb’s residence for a music complaint. A neighbor told him they did not believe anyone was home and the car was missing.

Robb drove past the officer and parked in the lot by his residence, the complaint said. When he got out of the vehicle, he reportedly had bloodshot eyes, unsteady balance, and smelled of ingested alcohol, the complaint said.

The complaint said Robb refused field sobriety tests and a breath test.

A third offense OWI is a Class-D felony.
