A local man has been charged with a third-public intoxication offense.
Aaron Murphy, 28, 1093 Walker Circle, was charged Feb. 23 with public intoxication.
According to a complaint, Murphy was found near Carver-Hawkeye Arena and admitted to drinking "too much." He charged with public intoxication. Online court records show he has had two previous convictions for public intoxication, in October 2005 and in February 2006.
Third-offense public intoxication is an aggravated misdemeanor.
