Coralville man arrested for indecent exposure

Iowa City police arrested a Coralville man Tuesday after he allegedly exposed himself to people passing through College Green Park.

Kelly Lee Wade, 41, was charged July 19 with indecent exposure and failure to comply with the sex-offender registry by loitering in a pubic park.

Police said they were dispatched to the park after receiving reports of a man exposing himself. Upon arrival, officers reported they saw Wade pull up his pants.

After questioning, police said Wade had been standing in the park for 30 minutes with his pants pulled down and his erect penis exposed.

The complaint said Wade is a registered sex offender with an offense against minors.

Wade has a previous conviction of failure to comply with the sex-offender registry in 2006, reports said.
