The University of Iowa Graduate Faculty approved two proposals for additional graduate programs in the Graduate College on Thursday. A Master of Fine Arts in Spanish creative writing was approved, as was a graduate certificate in biostatistics.
“We view this as a very positive thing for the university because of the written initiatives here,” said Graduate College Dean John Keller.
