The University of Iowa will have to find a different site for a new Studio Arts Building.
Talks to buy private property located at 119, 125, and 203 River St. for the new building fell through, UI Vice President for Finance Doug True told the state Board of Regents Thursday.
"We determined about two weeks ago that this is going nowhere," he said. "We’re not going to be able to buy this property at any reasonable price."
