Man charged with 3rd OWI
Police charged a North Liberty man for drunk driving for the third time after he allegedly drove “all over the road.”
Reginald Lowe , 49, was charged with third-offense OWI and driving while barred.
A citizen called the police complaining about Lowe’s driving and followed him into a Wal-Mart parking lot, according to reports. Police found Lowe’s car in the parking lot and pulled up behind him. Lowe allegedly stopped the car and started to walk away. When the officer told him he left his door and window open, Lowe allegedly responded in a slurred and garbled voice.
Third-offense OWI is a Class D felony, generally punishable by up to five years in prison and a maximum fine of $7,500.
